Komo Live was successfully used as a fan engagement digital activation by the West Coast Fever in their game against the Melbourne Vixens at RAC Arena. The activation was sponsored by the Fever’s game day partner, Linley Valley Pork (LVP).
The activation was a great success, with the aim of increasing the LVP database, brand awareness and consideration with Fever fans, to learn more about the fans pork consumption and to educate them using gamification on the positive facts about pork.
The activation was held at three quarter time and had the fans in stadium competing against each other in the bid to win the major prize of $2500 cash. Every fan that participated also received a $5 digital coupon to be redeemed at any of the Linley Valley food truck locations across Perth throughout the Netball season
The activation received an 8/10 fan entertainment score and a 91% LVP brand recall rate. This was based on the Fever’s Nielsen survey conducted after the game. Both of these results being extremely positive leaving all involved very happy with the activation.
We are thrilled with the results of our recent Komo Live activation; our match day sponsor, Linley Valley Pork, received a 91% sponsor recall rate at the match and I believe the activation had a lot to do with that result.
We’ve also received nothing but positive feedback from fans who found it easy to participate and had a great time doing so.
